The restaurant "Podvorye" is situated within 30 kilometers from St. Petersburg in Pavlovsk city, not far from the central entrance to the Pavlovsky Park "Podvorye" was opened in 1993 and can seat today over 200 guests at the same time.

The visitors are fascinated not only by the simplicity of the Russian wooden architecture, but also by the relaxed atmosphere filled with music and laughter. There is nothing of pretentiousness of classical restaurants. Simplicity of interior and lavishness of Russian cuisine, bearskin decoration and spacious yard.

Our regular visitors know that the restaurant is proud of its huge assortment of Russian dishes and often supplements the menu with products and drinks of the own production. As the city was celebrating its 300th in May, a beautiful new restaurant opened in the easterly wing of the General Staff building, named Hermitage Restaurant. Ten rooms, each designed in its own style, cover 1,500 sq.m. They are interconnected by a gallery intended for exhibitions of contemporary art. The restaurant has two entrances, from Palace Square and Bolshaya Morskaya Street (under the General Staff Arch). The restaurant’s Russian and European food, prepared according to time-honored recipes but served in a modern style, will satisfy the most demanding gourmet taste.

During summer months the restaurant will have one more open-air hall in Palace Square. Two cloakrooms and free parking in Bolshaya Morskaya Street will be at the restaurant guests’ disposal.

Backstage is an official restaurant of Mariynskiy theatre. This is a perfect place for discussing theatre performance while having dinner.
